War for Indagar is a fast-paced, 4x strategy game that includes four distinct factions for 1-4 players, along with an engaging AI. Players select powerful heroes to represent their armies, choose unique strategies to tailor their gameplay, and use spells and abilities to gain control over the battlefield and — ultimately — the Spirit Well at its center.

DETAILS
In War for Indagar, you command 3 heroes from one of 4 available asymmetric factions as you vie for primacy over the Well of Spirits at the center of the board. Each hero and faction comes with unique special abilities, representative of their lore, access to magic, and more to assist you in your overall strategy to utilize the 5 ways to earn victory points towards becoming the controller of the Well of Spirits.
With 73 tiles in the base game, the board is randomly constructed each game, with knowledge of the board discovered as players scout and move across the land. You will build outposts to collect resources and defend your territory from other players as you determine the best way to claim victory while ensuring defeat for your opponents.
However, there’s more than just the enemy factions there to oppose you. Up to 4 script driven (AI) monsters will also participate in the game, wreaking havoc among the players. These monsters have win conditions of their own, making it possible that they can win the game in lieu of any of the players. Even in the midst of battling your foes, you may be forced to forge temporary alliances to handle these monsters as, after all, the enemy of your enemy is your friend, at least temporarily.
War for Indagar is for 1-4 players, with a unique solo mode that pits you against all 4 primary monsters at the same time. With a randomly generated board and slick, fluid tactics that create an infinite amount of decision points in the game, no two games are ever the same, and no strategy works in all situations.
