Our Background

Happy Gorilla Game Studio was founded by Neil Gilstrap and Chip Boyd. We've been building games for a few years now, and love finding creative ways to make deep strategic choices more approachable.

Neil is the CEO and primary rules designer - he loves both creative solutions and mathematical precision. Outside of HGGS, Neil is an entrepreneurial software engineer.

Chip is the COO, and handles much of the operations for HGGS. By day, he is a Product Manager for Etsy.

We've also had amazing contributions from Simon Valev, Lee Stansbury, Dan Gorman, and Annabel Prodnuk!
